This March we thought to visit Bharatpur Bird sanctuary in Rajasthan to witness the lovely migratory route birds that had come across the world to our beautiful country. Since it was a very fast and sudden trip, we decided to search hotels online and spotted Regenta Resorts by Royal Orchid Hotels for two nights and three days.
Regenta Bharatpur
We started during afternoon time and reached Bharatpur in next five hours from Delhi. It was a smooth route and we loved the journey, it being a pleasant time of the year. As we reached the Bharatpur Bird sanctuary, we saw Regenta resorts Bharatpur standing tall on the highway. The facade was overlooking a beautiful garden which had a fountain. The resort was exactly on the highway and it was centrally placed at prime location which was just about 2 km away from the bird sanctuary and the main market.

As we entered the property, a large reception area and lobby welcomed us with the beautifully handcrafted furniture and lounge sofas. The golden carvings on furniture provided a luxe look to the ambiance!
Beyond the lobby there was a restaurant which was equally beautifully done with excellent furniture complementing the walls and flooring of the restaurant. Going ahead, lush green garden along with the swimming pool provided a pleasant sight. One could have a nice evening party there.
Our Room
When we reached our room it was well equipped with all modern amenities, the bathroom was spic and span clean. The room had beautiful lamps and nicely done bed.
It was a spacious room having a balcony which overlooked green area and the highway.
Our floor had a relaxing zone having pool table, carrom board and table tennis. It also had a big open area overlooking the pool and garden area on the ground floor. Cool breeze was blowing there and it was a pleasant experience. One could spend hours enjoying the wind and greenery around.
Food
Our Trip was of two nights and three days. We had all three meals at the restaurant of Regenta Bharatpur.

The food was lipsmacking. We had Kadai chicken. Chicken pieces were tender and juicy. Gravy was spicy enough for kids to have it. Masala gobhi was lipsmacking and exceeded my expectations.
Pasta was drooling and noodles were mouthwatering. The food was good on stomach and it was light too. We also had buffet in breakfast and the spread was good. It had a good variety- South Indian dishes like Idly Dosa was on order, poha was very tasty, omlette on demand, cutlets, bakery, fruits, sandwitches and aloo puri. Next day we had mix veg vermiclille, aloo parantha, sandwiches. Mango juice was delicious. We all loved being at the restaurant.
Service
Service was great, staff was polite and prompt. We felt like Being at home. We had got our breakfast packed on the go and it was a good packing.
Regenta Bharatpur is a good hotel to stay when one comes to Bharatpur. I recommend this property to all my readers for the ones who want to stay in proximity with the Bird sanctuary and Main market while having delicious food with comfortable stay.
