Top 11 things to do in Greenland

land is a fascinating country that has been gifted nature’s most wonderful things. I have always been curious about Greenland as a student and even today. Although I have not visited Greenland yet but I am trying to do listing of things that I am going to do once I am there. Since I am so inquisitive about the country, I can’t help but write about things I would love to do in Greenland. I have done my own research and jotted down the most interesting things to do in Greenland as per my preferences. So, here it goes.

1. I would feel blessed if I get to see the divine phenomena of Aurora Borealis, midnight sun, fastest moving glacier

2. Experience dog sleds that I have only heard during my childhood stories
3. I want to see Polar Bears there
4. Cultural dance, music, tradition, art and craft. Understand general lifestyle, perspective of people around aurora Borealis , midnight sun and any religious significance attached to them
5. See how Eskimos used to live in Igloos.
6. See how houses are built to cater to both all time sun 4 months summers and no sun 9 months winters
7. There are several hot springs having temperature from 98°C to 100°C in which people can soak comfortably. I would love to experience that.
8. Icebergs are the ones that I have only heard about but have never seen. Ilulissat Icefjord is a house of 1000+icebergs

9. There are many activities to do such as snow mobiling, kayaking, hiking to check on the flora and fauna of arctic, see golf course that is one of its kind cut between snow fields and ice bergs
10. There is a 972,000km National Park which is the world’s largest housing unique species
11. Blue river that gets its water through out the year from Petermann Glacier
