1. Know yourself and the sport you are indulging in by checking out videos of the same to get the virtual experience.
2. Its not necessary to know swimming for some water sports like snorkelling, underwater sea walk, subscooter, speed boat and sea karting.
3. Wear swim wear for water sports. Any cotton slacks with shirts would also do for girls. Don’t forget to carry your floaters.
4. Know all the required steps of a sport and pay attention and follow instructions of guides.
5. Carry your shades and hats to avoid ditrect sunrays
6. Ensure to apply sunscreen on exposed parts of body to avoid sun burns
7. Don’t try any stunts in any of activities which are out of rules if instructions by guides as they may be disastrous
8. You can wear lenses ask authorities. They can advise well. I myself am always comfortable with lenses than specs
9. Ensure not to step on corals or reefs as it may harm corals or you.
10. All water sports require life jackets. Also, if you have heart problems or doctor has advised not to do water sports then strictly refrain from it.
