The Common Room as the name suggests is the place for foodies to have a time well spent while having the taste of mix of Chandni Chowk style food or street side omelette or snacks. A lovely combination of Indian food, Chinese, Continental and Italian.
A restaurant with quirky interiors having dim lights creating an ambiance of a place to chill out with friends even during afternoons. A little balcony outside provides a view of the running road with some special place for an open air dine out. Lamps and lights along with books create an aura for all kinds of foodies be studious ones or cool ones.
Chicken Malai Tikka , Keema Pao are a must try for non vegetarians.
Vegetarians will find lots of innovations with Melting Umbrella which is a bit cheesy but irresistible. Onion rings were my favourites with crispy crackle as I had a delicious bite. Nachos were super enticing although I did not try them. Vegetarian dumplings were awesome as my colleague pointed out.
I had to wait for Mutton Rarha pizza. The presentation was luring. Pizza had a thin and crispy base. I found it a bit oily probably because Mutton Rarha itself is an oily dish.
Last but not the least, I had chocolate brownie with ice cream which I had to my heart’s content. It was luscious I must say.
As drinks I had Kiwi Cucumber Sparkle which was indeed a breather. It was good in quantity and lasted throughout my meal. Loved it.
Service was courteous and staff was knowledgeable. Just that non vegetarian dishes took extra time for preparation. Our host Ms.Mansi Ahuja and owner Mr.Swaraj Singhi ensured that we had a gala time at Common Room
Last but not the least, this restaurant is also a platform for talented people like guitarists, singer and many more. So, people go and show your talent while enjoying food at Common Room
