Bottoms Up is an appealing neighborhood Gastropub that fits humming Punjabi Bagh club road to the tee. Whether you are looking for a cool place to hang out or dance the night away or just to relax and enjoy an alluring spread of fusion food and authentic Delhi culinary delights, Bottoms Up is the place.

It is a place where guests can relish typical pub fare from the Chakhna menu, while sipping into their cocktails. The décor is young, raw and quirky, ideal for a Weekend out with friends.

Ambiance

Next to petrol station, Bottoms Up stands high on Club Road. As we entered the restaurant, it was a nice quirky ambiance with stylish lights, dining tables and decor. There were tables for various needs. If someone wants a quick dine out or for one who wants to sit comfortably on sofa, relax, sip, laugh and have a view of the road.

There was another dining area on the first floor with an open air sitting arrangement in the terrace overlooking the club road.

We liked the ambiance. It was energetic and innovative.

Beverages

We were first served with few healthy yet creative and delicious mock tails.

Caribbean Summer- Blend of pineapple & fresh kiwi. Awesome it was, I wanted to drink it slowly so that I could keep the taste in my mouth for long! I just loved it. It was made from fresh Kiwi and Pineapple. The colour of the drink was enticing and refreshing.

Orange & Date Mojito-Fresh date puree, orange chunks, lime combined with orange juice. It was a mouthwatering drink providing a soothing breather with appropriate blend of ingredients.

Wild Herbed Guava-Great blend of guava juice with herbs & spices was awesome as well.

It was now turn of grand food. First of all CHAKHNA PLATTER came our way nicely laid in a tray. It was in our Old Delhi style chain glasses innovatively used for platter containing ‘Masala Sev’ achari olives rehydrated tomatoes , Crispy snack made from ‘Channa Jor Garam’ , ‘Classic Masala Peanuts’ kaffir lime punch, Masala groundnuts served with a hint of Kafir lime , ‘Challi Masala Wali’ corn off the cob. Every chain glass had a lip smacking distinctive taste of its own.

Another dish was SALAD IN KADAK ROOMALI Containg Tandoori Pineapple Kimchi Toasted Peanut. It was super tasty specially tandoori pineapple which satiated my taste buds.

By this time my palette was already enjoying when another feather- BUNNY CHOW was added to the cap. It was a superb combination of bun balls stuffed with chilli paneer, chicken curry and Rarhya mutton. Each variety of bunny chow lusciously melted in my mouth. What a dish it was! It was irresistible. I couldn’t stop eating it.

LAHMACUN-Cured Lamb Crunchy pizza made Turkish way with hung curd as base topped with shredded lamb & roasted garlic flakes was delectable. The base was thin and crisp. Curd on the base jelled well with the overall taste of pizza.

I had another variety of pizza with mushrooms and capsicum as toppings. It was succulent as well.

Last but not the least, Chicken Afghani Pesto Pasta was toothsome. Chicken was very well marinated and was soft and juicy. It just vanished in my mouth leaving spicy and appetizing taste behind. The side bread was delicious as well. I had to voluntarily stop eating it.

Bitter chocolate Rum & Raisin mousse – A rich creamy dessert with whipped egg white, dark rum & dark chocolate was what I relished as a dessert.

Service at Bottoms Up

Prompt service. The staff was very alert, courteous and highly responsive. They knew well how to serve, whom to serve first. Service staff was knowledgeable about the preparation of dishes.

Overall, it was not just a dining, it was an experience of food that we had at Bottoms Up. Three of us had gone for the review and none of us had any complaints at all. Every food item was nicely presented, served hot and was mouth watering. Our hosts Raghav Rohtagi and Harsher Bajwa ensured that we have a gala time at Bottoms Up. We could not leave the restaurant without saying thanks to Sous Chef – Ravi Singh Rawat. Bottoms Up is indeed living up to its promise of ‘Bite, Sip, Laugh’. 

I highly recommend it to all the foodies for personal or professional dine out. It is a must must visit gastropub.
