When I heard about Nayab Sea Food Festival by Indyaki, Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar, I was eager to experience the same. I had been planning to experience Indyaki since long but finally this plan materialized. Being winter time, it was pleasant and we reached the restaurant around 9pm.
The restaurant tables were occupied with a few vacant. Live music was on. We took a table near the window from where we could witness the greenery and sky outside.
Ambiance of Indyaki
The restaurant is big and spacious. Dining tables were laid well around each other far enough to maintain the privacy of individual tables. In the beginning of the restaurant, was a lounge like big sofa setting where people could chit chat. Next to that were two separate sections for big gatherings dining. There were provisions for baby chairs as well. There were bigger seating arrangements for bigger families as well.
Live kitchen was in the center of the restaurant. The decor and furniture was complimenting each other to create a nice and soothing ambiance along with live music.
Food at Indyaki
Nayab Sea Food Festival is all about fishes, prawns, crabs. First of all, we were served a very innovative warm drink- turmeric punch which was a mixture of ginger, turmeric, basil. The concept behind it is to refresh and energize and also to heal. Similar drink used to be served to warriors who came from battles to heal and repair their systems after a long drawn stress.
I am fond of fishes and tried two of them. Both the fishes were well cooked and presented with a lot of passion and innovation. The first one being wrapped in banana leaf and with the layer of spicy and tangy flavour of gravy which was neatly done.
This was delicious. Mackrels in spicy Coconut Masala in Manglorean Style. I could savor the taste of fine vegetables that were cut and cooked intricately. Beneath the layer of gravy, was the fish which was very well cooked. It was delicious.
I had Grilled mustard Pomfret fish. It was musturd flavoured marinated fish cooked in Teppan. This had different spices altogether. This was delicious as well.
Then I had malai chicken. It was irresistible. It was very soft and juicy. I just loved it. My husband relished it too. This was followed by mixed vegetables and fruits that were grilled and cooked in spices.
It was an innovative concept and dish was mouthwatering. Its spices and taste satiated my taste buds.
Button mushroom with coconut Puree in garlic South Indian spices mustard curry leaves was lip smacking. Soya in coconut sauce green chilly garlic and ginger, coconut oil and turmeric and onion was awesome.
I am not a fan of soya. But this one I relished. Assorted vegetables and fruits roasted in tandoor and grilled. I specially liked pineapple and broccoli. All these snacks had South Indian touch which I must appreciate as my palette was happy.
Then we had Dal Indyaki. As I savoured it, I realized that I was so craving for this taste since long. Kofte were soft and tasty.
Mutton Rogan Josh was soft and lip smacking. Its said that if mutton is cooked well, then it becomes a dish that has an unforgettable taste. This happened with mutton Rogan Josh. Pieces were tender and just melted in my mouth.
Butter chicken boneless was enticing and was irresistible such that I had it even on my full stomach.
We were already full, but its said that desserts have special place in stomachs even if we do over eating. So, we had the unparalleled Ghiye Ka Halwa. Oh, it was out of the world. I was the one to sour the first and last byte of it.
Normally, I don’t like Gulab Jamuns. But this one was out of the box innovation. Can you ever think of Beetroot Gulab Jamun? Yes, you guessed it right!! I kept on eating it and just couldn’t stop eating. This was so good.

It was overall an excellent experience to dine at Nayab Sea Food Festival at Indyaki, Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar. Both of us experienced a gala time. Highly recommended.

After Corona virus, I am staying away even from eggs forget non veg. Moreover, fish cause a blockage on the heart. So I think everyone should stay away from it.
