After breakfast, we were taken on a four wheel drive up the forest area in Tambourine National Park. The National Park is full of Eucalyptus trees that grow tall and tall and fight with each other for the sunlight. The four wheel drive was for the uphill and rough drive.

After few hours of climbing up, we halted at a place to see the Gold Coast from the hill top. It was a nice view up there.

We could see the waters and tall buildings. People have built magnificent houses. The area was nicely done up and decorated with flowers. All over the place was green. Fresh and cool breeze was blowing.

After a few minutes, we reached an area where we were given boomerang lessons. I used to play with boomerang , but never knew that my way to play with it was a wrong one. Never knew that there are rules and ways to play with it. It was interesting to know that there are experts of Boomerang. And yes, I saw boomerangs coming back as well. All of us in the group were educated to play with boomerang.

We practiced it twice or thrice. Boomerang has to be sent in the direction of wind and also needs to be held in a certain manner. When sent with full force and in the right direction, it comes back indeed. After 5-6 times of practicing, my elder son was reaching his goal to make it come back. He was the one who brought it back to the nearest of the sent location. We all were delighted at this!

After Boomerang lessons, we headed to have luscious jams and cakes. It was a nice ambiance. I loved my coffee. The restaurant was surrounded by greenery all around.

After enjoying sometime there, we headed to Tambourine National Park. There was a road carved for walkers with bushes and Eucalyptus trees all around. Our guides were very knowledgeable. They showed us how Eucalyptus trees were growing and fighting for light. As a result they were getting taller and taller.

There were termites that had eaten tree trunks and trees had fallen. After a few minutes walk, we saw a beautiful little waterfall.

There was railing all around beyond which water was getting accumulated after falling from the fall. It was a nice and pleasant weather. The whole scenery was beautiful with clear skies, hills and greenery around. Was loving the whole experience.

On our way back, we saw a big chameleon sitting on a tree. It was an amazing sight. Kids were enjoying the experience.

I would recommend this walk to Tambourine National Park to all to get the fresh air and to get to know about the forest and check out the falls
