The very first day we landed in London, we had to stay at Thistle London Heathrow. I was curious to see the property. It was near the Airport. It took us only 15-20 minutes to reach there.  There was greenery all around on the way to the hotel.

At the entrance, there was lobby and a lounge area by the bar.

It was quite a cozy property.

To the right of the lobby were rooms. On the other side of the parking were area for meetings and banqueting.

Aviation Suite

On the top of lobby , there were rooms and a spacious restaurant overlooking the runway. This was the most exciting part of the property.

Open Air Restaurant

My kids could spend full day seeing the landing of planes. I too was excited to see this view. There was an open air seating arrangement as well.

Food

Food at the restaurant was good. I used to have hash browns , apple juice, bread and omelette for breakfast. The serving staff was very flexible and caring. There was a lavish spread of buffet including fruits, breads section, juices, oats, cornflakes and more. I used to enjoy our morning breakfast.

Our Room

Our room was good. It was a small room with all modern amenities. Wifi was excellent in the room. Tea/coffee maker. We had a good comfortable sleep.

Our bathroom was very good and spic and span clean.

Service

Service by the staff was impeccable. At every interaction, we met with courteous and polite assistance.

I highly recommend this property to those who want to stay near airport for its comfortable stay, good service and excellent food and marvelous view.
