When I was invited by Le Meridien Jaipur to cover Jaipur Literary Festival, I instantly agreed to the offer. I was excited not only to experience Le Meridien Jaipur but also Literary Festival with respect to Le Meridien. I have already written an article on my experience of Jaipur Literary Festival with respect to Le Meridien. In this article, I review Le Meridien Jaipur as I can not resist writing the same owing to my great experience.
Review Le Meridien Jaipur
When I reached the property, it seemed to be a very warm and hospitable one. The entrance welcomed us with beautiful trees surrounded by little fountains.
Further ahead was a big reception with sophisticated decor.
Next to reception is a quirky restaurant- Latest Recipe with a refreshing colour combination. The service and hospitality of Latest Recipe deserve a special blog post which I plan to write in next few days.
On the other side of reception is swimming pool surrounded by rooms complex on two sides and the third side with villas.
One side of rooms have a Rajasthani touch and the other set of rooms have contemporary style.
Third side was dedicated to villas.
My room
My room had a contemporary style which I loved. The interiors were classy and of International Standards. My room had all modern amenities required these days. WiFi was excellent.
My room had a balcony facing the swimming pool. There was a cute little wooden stand placed on the table which had specially designed chocolates and fruits on it.
My room’s bathroom was excellent!
Food
Food at the property is delicious and irresistible be it dining at the restaurant Latest Recipe or food at Writer’s ball or even at Author’s evening with Amrita Tripathi and Chitra Banerjee Devakaruni.
Service
The whole property was spic and span clean. My room had great service. I felt perfectly comfortable and taken good care of. Housekeeping staff ensured to check if I needed something. Reception staff was very courteous and prompt. Chitra Awasthi, Director was very hospitable and ensured that our stay and the JLF experience was seamless.
Moreover, I saw a destination wedding going on and a dedicated area was provided for the same.
The hotel also has suites and presidential suites. I got to see villas and Presidential Suites. Both very spell binding. I loved both the products.
Villas had their own beauty with a private gardens having swing and a dining table where a couple can enjoy their time together.
Presidential suite had a drawing dining along with fully furnished kitchen, dressing room, little gymn , parlour and bedroom and a master room. It was a perfect setting for two families.
Overall, a fantabulous property with great hospitality, food and service. I just loved being there. Highly recommended.
