On the menu were the melt – in – mouth dishes such as Pistachio Cannoli, Ricotta Cheese and Pistachio (using waffle cone mix), Pistachio Blanc Manger and Pistachio Hummus. Hence, I have come up with these innovative and easy recipes using pistachios so that everyone can easily fit it in their day – to – day life.’
My experience at the California Pistachios cooking demo @Foodhall
Chef Olivier actually prepared Cannoli very nicely and neatly. I was looking at the preparation for the first time and it was very interesting. Captured crucial steps. Waffles were crisp and thin.
As waffles piled up one after other, they became more and more enticing. The final outcome was highly satiating having optimum sugar and I just loved it. Chef filled in these waffles and finally dipped them in Pistachio powder.
Next in turn was Hummus. Chef created a magic out of Pistachios, chickpeas, olive oil, milk, flour and other ingredients. It was a fast but well organized session by Chef. He ensured to explain the ingredients, quantities, temperatures, benefits of ingredients. The final outcome of each of recipes were awesome. Each dish was delectable and I enjoyed healthy snacks. I have had hummus many times, but this one was awesome.
