Worlds Largest Kitty Party by Grehlakshmi

I was curious to attend Worlds Largest Kitty Party by Grehlakshmi on 10th September at The Lalit, New Delhi. As I got down, I saw many cabs stopping at the venue and many women entering the place. Some women were coming out with many bags. From the time I got down from cab to entering the venue my curiosity rose.

I was happy when I finally entered the hall. It was a very logical sequence of stalls of clothes, pickles, decorative items, jewellery and more.

There was a free foot massage, hair analysis and so much more. Even mehndi was being applied for free. Such a happening place it was! Going further was a hall where there were stalls of tarot readers, astrologers, fengshui and nail art. All were being offered for free. There were stalls of Eureka Forbes and Hitachi as well.

There was another hall from where songs and tunes could be heard. Oh my God! The hall was packed with women. There were more stall like of California Walnut, SENCO Jewellers, Organic India, VLCC counter and BBlunt.

Show anchor was Pragya Tiwari who was great and highly energetic and engaging. There was a fashion show by Reliance Trendz showcasing beautiful and colourful dresses.

Vardhaman knitting Yarns presented to us the ultimate fashion statement winter collection of a variety of knitted dresses be they sleeveless woolen tops or long ones or even woollen dresses. I was totally impressed by the designers, stylists and the overall ramp walk. It was excellent.

Star cast from from television serial Badho Bahu Arsha Goswami and Prince Narula were invited on stage. They interacted with audiences and danced as well.

Elegant and beautiful mummies walked the ramp in style to make their kids proud. It was such a captivating scene.

There was also ramp walk by SENCO jewellers where models wore ethnic Indian wear along with designer jewellery. SENCO jewellers also gifted gold coins to 5 winners of the luck draw. There were other lucky draws and interesting contests like saas- bahu jodi, Ms. ChatterPatter, Ms. Chup Chaap, Ms. Beautiful hair, Ms. Beautiful Skin and more.

One winner got the Hitachi refrigerator worth 40,000-45,000.

While all this was going on , there were lots of snack stalls by BTW. I had mouthwatering goal gappas and delicious matar kulcha. There were big lines at counters of tikki and Pao Bhaji as well.

Motu Patlu were invited on stage to interact with kids. Kids enjoyed a lot.

Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and television star Mrunal too interacted with audiences.

Overall, it was a fantabulous experience for me. I am planning to go next year as well. This #WorldsLargestKittyParty is an yearly affair and has ever increasing visitors.

My mom used to read this magazine and I remember this having some great tips for women and homemakers.
While I am not a kitty party person, the event sounds like fun.
