Interaction with Mr. Roger Bloss
Q1.)What is inique about Value Inn? How would it be different to guests to be irresistible as against other brands of same tier?
We bring the resources, distribution system, education, channels and tools to the hotel owners to help them operate successfully. We bring inspiration by individuality. Once I am at a destination, I would love to eat local food at a local restaurants, would love to learn its art, culture and uncover the destination. Trust factor is another key player here. So, guests would know if something goes wrong, they are in good hands. They would get some basic facilities that are a must haves in any Value Inn or Value Hotel on Earth. Plus there are other facilities like frequent traveler points etc.
Q2.)What is one thing that is common amongst all the Vantage Hospitality brands?
Private ownership. People that we partner with are private owners of hotels. We provide the tools and measures to operate successfully.
Q3.)What is the one thing that you would mention which has helped you excel and also become popular in a short time frame?
I would say my proposition is cost effective and people see benefit in my proposition. We have a Cruise Ship’s facility at a Motorboat Speed. We are selling hospitality services at very competitive prices.
Q4)What is your vision of Vantage?
My vision is that the Culture of Vantage stays intact regardless of size we get. I want to be at a stage where things are ‘Fair’
Q5)Who is your Role Model?
Mike Leven. Long back, none of the American Hotels wanted to have franchises with Indian hotel owners. Mike Leven raised questions on prejudices and in 1994, the Indo American Hospitality Association and the Asian American Hotel Owners Association decided to merge in order to work more efficiently to defend Asian hotel owners’ interests throughout the United States. AAHOA is nowadays the largest membership-based Indian business organization in the United States.
