I had been hearing a lot about Naad Wellness through my colleagues but wasn’t able to gather courage to experience the same due to Corona Pandemic. As the cases in Delhi reduced, we decided to experience the same as we were also looking for some wellness retreat where we could get a sense of wellness food and routine. The facility is not so far from Delhi. Its just about 40kms away from where I stay. Situated at a prime location, Naad Wellness stands strong and bold in Sonipat, Kundli.
Our experience at Naad Wellness
As we entered the vicinity, we got checked for fever and our hands were sanitized. Then we received a very warm welcome by the staff with diya and Rudraksh mala. This itself generated a strong positive radiance which we both loved.

Ambiance
The ambiance and the whole atmosphere of the facility was very calming. Green colour is my favourite and I was happy to seen green flooring. These tiles are hand crafted brought from Rajkot. These tiles have 60% material that is re used. That is a low maintenance flooring.
The ‘yin and yang’ inspiration resonates in the reflexology track and the shape of the swimming pool. Sustainable materials have been used in the construction of the property – FSC certified wood and zero-waste stone work. Sustainable endeavors include 100% water and solid waste recycling (both used for horticulture) and rain water harvesting.
The swimming pool has been made with sandstone which ensures a cool, refreshing swim even in the scorching summers of the region. For winters, the water is temperature controlled. Salon was neat and clean and well equipped.
The wood has been polished with linseed oil which does not give out chemical fumes.
Our experience at Naad Wellness
After getting fresh, we changed to their standard Kurta Pyjama dress with Rudraksh mala and had our breakfast first.
Ragi Chilla with Nariyal Chutney in breakfast
It was Ragi Chilla with thinly chopped onions. To our surprise thinly chopped beetroot was also sprinkled over it. It was a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Then we had appointment with Ayurvedic and Naturopathy doctors. They noted our clinical conditions. Our BMI and body age was calculated based on various parameters. We then headed to our rooms. After one hour our Reflexology foot massage was booked. It was a nice relaxing experience.
Next in line was lunch time after sometime. To our delight, we had first salad followed by meal which was further followed by warm herbal water. Jaun Ka Halwa was made with jaggery. It was highly delectable.
Lunch Meal Beans Ki Bhaji and Mixed vegetable with mustard along with Ragi ki roti
After about two hours we had Abyangam Ayurvedic therapy which was again relaxing and comforting. It was followed by a naturopathic therapy. Both the therapies had different techniques. Both of them are good for blood circulation and focus on affected areas.
Refreshments were great, we had vegetable cutlets. They were lipsmacking.
By this time I had already understood one important aspect of Chef Chef Sekh Sahajan. The food we had clearly provided the evidence that the Chef was excellent or I should be saying- over and beyond expectations, in providing nutrition with taste. This art is not with everyone.
It totally showed his culinary skills and that how much hard work the Chef must be putting in to ensure the guests get the requisite nutrition along with satiated taste buds. They also used to keep an eye so that no sharing of plates is happening and people are strictly following their diets else the results won’t be as desired.
After the refreshments, it was time for yoga. Yoga is done in a neat and clean room decorated with flowers and jasmine oil lamps. As soon as you enter the room, you feel calm instantly. Your body would itself get into the rhythm of meditation. First day we were taught oil pulling and some easy yoga poses. Oil pulling is a great exercise. Not only it releases out toxins of our body but also strengthens teeth along with facial muscles. I have adopted this in my daily routine.
After yoga, we took a stroll in the lush green gardens and gazed at the beauty of flowers all around and headed for dinner.
Every time we headed for our meals, we felt special as our diets were customized to our needs. I got to have beetroot soup and my husband got carrot soup. Both soups were mouthwatering.
Then it was followed by another specially curated dishes. In the night, we got our warm herbal waters.
Next morning again we had an early morning oil pulling and yoga session. Before yoga, I had cucumber, ginger and mint juice. It was very good to have and was filling also. Then post yoga, got ready and had breakfast- Quinoa Upma with coconut milk, Palak juice for me and triple smoothie and Millet fruit porridge for my husband. It was good to see the customization according to dietary needs.
Quinoa Upma with nariyal chutney
That was again followed by 10.30am therapy followed by mud pack , lunch , reflexology track walk for 15 minutes. I loved reflexology walk as it put whole of my body weight on my feet and I could feel strong stones pressure under my feet. This was a bit tough but healing as I could feel the pressure exerted by my weight on numerous points.
This was again followed by therapy, then meditation session and normal Naad routine.
Next day too was action filled with routine oil pulling, some advanced yoga poses followed by healthy and satiating breakfast. Yoga poses really helped realize different strain points and releasing them. I am very fond of yoga and love advance sessions. Food again scored points.
Bathroom
This day’s therapies were very different. Salt cave and Turkish Hummam are USPs of Naad. You have to experience them to believe this. These are indeed unique in India I believe. The salt cave has different forms of salt from Pakistan.
Turkish Hummam
Our Room
Our room was very nice and comfortable , warm and cozy.
It had all the amenities except TV.
Bathroom was also well equipped with all modern amenities along with herbal shampoos , bath gels, soaps etc. It was spic and span clean.
Now, both of us have started feeling more energetic and healthy.
There was a plunge pool by our room.
Service
Service is impeccable by the polite and courteous staff. Be it restaurant Ahara, Yoga, Gymn, Doctor consultations, Front office, House keeping or any other team that I may have missed, all the staff members are highly competent in their respective roles.
Other Facilities
There are ample activity areas like Badminton court, Lawn Tennis court, Arial Yoga, well equipped Gymnasium apart from Plunge pool and swimming pool.
I must say all the therapies, food, yoga, ambiance, experience and service together form a unique combination that provides a strong reason to splurge for health and wellness. I would love to give Naad a high recommendation to people who want wellness in their lives. Even a stay as small as 3N4D would give you a good glimpse of a healthy lifestyle.
I have learnt alot from Naad Wellness and have brought significant changes in my lifestyle. For example, I do Oil Pulling for 15 minutes daily followed by yoga or walks.
We have minimized the use of wheat. Instead introduced millets, ragi , chana atta in our foods. We now ensure to have fruits in breakfast and salads in lunch. One major change is also that we have started having warm herbal waters at home after every meal. We do not take more than one sweet dish per day.
Thanks to Naad Wellness. Its a great wellness retreat or destination for its close proximity to Delhi , excellent ambiance and mind blowing combination of taste and nutrition with impeccable and highly courteous service.
The whole property looks so spic and span clean be it any nook, corner or any minute details as small as a leaf of a plant, the staff members are doing a lot of hard work with great passion. I must say it all begins with good leadership. I strongly believe that the Co Founder Mr. Manoj Khaitan has excelled the art of leadership, integrity along with hard work that is reflecting in his employees, food, vicinity and treatments and finally, a happy us and other guests.
Highly recommended!
