Ticket counter and waiting area in Polaris Experience Zone

We got an opportunity to experience Polaris All Terrain Vehicles drive at Polaris Experience Zone in Dharuhera, Gurgaon next to Hero factory. Since we wanted to do something adventurous, we grabbed this chance. Almost 70 kms from Delhi, on Delhi Jaipur highway- NH8, created for venturesome motor enthusiasts, this place is called ‘Pick up fun zone’. Good that we chose to experience this!

Having started during peak hours from Delhi, it took us a little more than two hours to reach Dharuhera. Due to peak hours, there was a lot of traffic on the way . We reached at about 4pm. Being winters, it was quiet cold. Nevertheless, our excitement was no less.We had heard about Polaris All Terrain Vehicles and were curious to see the terrain and vehicles.

Ambience

At the entrance a waiting area along with ticket counter was there. Next to it was a huge ground terrain with four stunts and one water stunt. The total length of the lap was half a kilometre. As we entered the Polaris experience zone, we could see all ATVs lined up waiting to be picked for a ride. ATVs were ranging from PHOENIX 200,BLUE; Sportsman Touring 500 H.O; Sportsman 90; Trail Boss 330 to RZR S 800.

The terrain had a lap of about half a kilometre. I could now relate to movie stunts where the vehicles become air borne for few seconds! It was exciting!

Next to terrain were other sections like conference rooms, kitchen etc.

Our Experience at Polaris Experience Zone

ATVs in line

Eager to ride, we had already filled up the indemnity bonds and wore jackets and helmets to just get on the most powerful, sturdy and heavy vehicle there- Polaris RZR S 800. RZR S 800 due to its high output engine and low wait of vehicle, delivers acceleration from 0 to 60kmph in 4 seconds. As we got onto it and started off, it was amazing! Getting on the stunt was thrilling. We could feel sudden adrenaline rush! Since it was a two seater and as we experienced the whole lap with all stunts and specially the water stunt, I felt like a movie scene was on.

Getting Instructions for driving

Then we tried a motorbike which was again four wheeled. It was quiet impressive. I felt very strong and powerful on it.

Then, we both wanted to try the bikes alone! That made me courageous and I was driving the bike by myself. First I was told about its functions. I was quiet comfortable driving it. The whole experience was enthralling!

One important thing that we noticed was that the terrain was bumpy and had big stones on the way but we did not feel any jerks on vehicles. Ride was smooth in all the ATVs we tried.

Some tips

At one of the stunts

1.Plan ahead and start during non traffic hours to reduce your overall travelling time

2.Go with few friends or in a group, it would add to the fun, thrill and excitement

3. Few vehicles can be driven by 10 years and above

4. RZR S 800 and bikes are a must try
