Pushkar Resorts by Sewara Hospitality is located in Ganehra Village, which is in the outskirts of Pushkar city. Pushkar resorts is spread across 15acres of land with 40 cottages having the range of standard, deluxe and super deluxe rooms. It is one of the few resorts in the vicinity to offer non-vegetarian delicacies and alcohol. I spent 2 nights 3 days in Pushkar Resorts.
Ambiance
As I entered resorts, lush green beautiful landscapes with trees, swimming pool and cottages around welcomed us. We were formally welcomed by enticing rose water drink and cucumber juices nicely laid in a tray with strategically placed flowers in it. With such a warm welcome and beautiful surroundings, I instantly concluded that my experience in Pushkar Resorts is going to be positive.
After having lunch, our host Rushali Khandelwal and Mr.Rajesh Mandal took us through a round of the property. A separate building was dedicated to reception, play area, library, Kaivalya Spa and conference room.
Reception area was very well ventilated and overlooked big lawns of Pushkar Resorts on one side and farm land on the other. The cool air was passing through, refreshing me. I stood there for sometime gazing at nature’s beauty. I was actually thrilled to see the beauty of resort from the reception.
Play area had table tennis table and other games like carrom board, chess etc. There was another section selling art and craft stuff, pickles and other interesting gift items like key chains etc. There were two rooms for spa, which I will review separately. Very neat and clean with soothing aroma around.
Then we walked towards cottages sections overlooking lush green gardens.
There was a swimming pool in between the gardens.
Restaurant
A restaurant serving delicious Continental , Oriental and Indian food stood amidst the resort. It offers a variety of cuisines ranging from traditional Rajasthani to European and continental. The focus is on the use of fresh home grown ingredients which ensures that the dishes are fresh and healthy. Produce like lettuce, mangoes, cherry tomatoes & amlas are grown in-house and used for the daily preparations.
With a cover of 100 seats, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner with regular chef specials and food festivals. Special picnic baskets are also provided for the kafila rides. Pushkar Resorts also provide a healthy menu option to compliment the spa treatments ensuring an overall healing of the mind, body & soul.
Signature dishes like dal makhni, laal maas, kadai paneer, kadai chicken and gulab ki kheer are a must try on your visit to the property. I loved kadai chicken, it was finger licking.Raita and dal fry were mouthwatering as well.
I liked the ambiance, decor, service and hospitality of the restaurant.
My Room
We were handed over our room keys. My cottage was in the corner of a section overlooking beautiful scenery of hills and garden around. My room had all the necessary modern amenities including LCD TV, Phone, refrigerator, toiletries in the bathroom. I just loved my room, its ambiance, surroundings and view from room. Beds and bath were nicely done. I had a sound good night sleep.
Service at Pushkar Resorts
Staff was very courteous, eager to help and prompt at service. Be it restaurant, hotel service or room service, I was served well and impeccably in time.
Other facilities that resort provided
We got to see cultural programme during evening time. It was an entertaining show including puppet show and traditional Rajasthani dance.
Kafila ride provided by the resort was very comfortable and the driver was courteous as well. We travelled via Camel Cart to Pushkar Temple and Lake. It was a nice journey
Overall
A must stay in resort at reasonable prices at an excellent location with mesmerizing landscapes. I would recommend Pushkar Resorts to everyone in the world staying in Pushkar. If one wants to hear birds chirping, air singing then this is the property with all modern amenities while being in nature.
Corporate off sites can also be held here considering the conference room , restaurant and other recreational activities.
I must say that ours was a very well designed and seamless plan. Our host Rushali Khandelwal and Mr.Rajesh Mandal, management team and staff really work well together to provide a beautiful experience to guests be it hotel stay, restaurant dining or sightseeing activities. Keep up this great team work and hospitality.

The place looks green and lush. How close is it to the actual venue of the Pushkar mela? Have been meaning to visit the mela, can book the place when i go.
Hi Prerna, Mela is all over Pushkar. Main areas are sand dunes and Pushkar temple, lake etc. Sand dunes are hardly 15 minutes away by camel cart from Pushkar Resorts.
Quite an elaborate coverage. Pushkar resorts have been on my mind.
Thank you!
