Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest fort in India. The fort is 400 feet above the city.

This fort is surrounded by old city with blue coloured houses – giving the city its name.
Bird’s eye view of the city from the fort was memorable. There are seven gates with a winding road to and fro from the city.
Apart from its history and rich culture , Jodhpur is known for its most exquisite palace – The Umaid bhawan.
Umaid Bhawan
One of the world’s largest private residences. It is divided in three parts – a Top most Luxury hotel around the world – Taj Palace, Residence of earstwhile royal family members and a museum. Umaid Bhawan was built between 1928 and 1943 for King Umaid Singh.

Shops at the base of Chhattar Hill house antique stuff like doorways, lintels, carved balconies, windows, pillars, furniture, utensils, old pictures etc.
