Interaction with Executive Chef Tanmoy Mazumdar
Q1) Chef, how do you ensure the quality of food?
I daily check seven to eight dishes to ensure the consistency of quality and taste. There are certain measure and policies followed to ensure high quality of raw materials. Any raw material not matching the standards of quality are rejected.
Q2) Chef, which all cuisines do you specialize in?
Japanese Teppanyaki, Intercontinental, Mediterranean, North Indian of course is my forte. Currently we have Mediterranean festival going on for ten days till 25th January, 2015.
Q3) Which one you would say is a speciality of Cafe on 3?
Homemade pizza prepared here from scratch are very delicuous, kebabs are very soft and juicy, although you would like most of the food here.
We do a ten day festival every month for an International Cuisine. Very soon we would be launching a different kind of ala carte menu.
Q4 Which one is your favorite cuisines ?
I like Teppanyaki more because it is simple and mostly grilled so has less oil. It is generally cooked in front of you . You get fresh food like Sushi which is high in proteins.
Q5) Which all places you have travelled?
Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad
Q6) What kind of food you would recommend for desert locations?
I would say less spicy, less oily. Take more of fruits and juices to keep yourself hydrated.
Thank you Chef for your time today.
