I had gone to attend Korea Tourism Travel Mart at Taj Palace, Delhi. Since I am fascinated by Korea, I wanted to attend the same. The venue had many DMCs, Korean and Asians Airlines, Floating Island, Korea Tourism, Hotels and resorts has their booths. With that little interaction with Koreans out there, I could generally feel that Koreans are highly respectful and courteous to talk to. Just like in India when we greet someone or say bye, we get up from our seats, I could see the same behaviour from everyone out there. While exchanging cards also, they would hand over their cards with both hands. This clearly indicated how hospitable the country would be.

What I learnt about Korea

There was a booth by Songdo Convensia showcasing their Convention centre. The centre has big banquets for meetings, conferences and so much more. Floating island’s booth provided information about how it is built in the middle of Han River and can be a strong prospect for big fat Indian destination weddings.  Floating island had a great concept of lights, Marina restaurants, shops and a floating stage on Han River.

Daemyung hotels have many properties and one of its kind – Vivaldi Park, Gangwondo, Korea has a skiing area, water park, wildlife sanctuary, what more can one ask for?? I would instantly fall in love with a hotel that provides me all that. I have experienced so many properties and even read about many in the world that I have never witnessed something like this ever. 

Seoul, the famous destination of Korea is a must must visit. Such fascinating location with Changdeokung Palace, the UNESCO world heritage site . Latest designs of buildings like Dongdaemun , Lotte World Tower or entertainment nightlife,  technology Hangang river, parks, greenery, culinary delights, vibrant festivals, world class transportation, safety and security, Seoul provides delights in all.

Gyronggi-do boasts of many fortresses, theme parks, caves, temples, Bukhangang river , botanical gardens, forests, villages, towns and islands. One must visit this place to experience

Jeju- do Island is a combination of island, rocks, hills, rivers. Other places to visit are Bussn, Incheon , Korea’s first open port city has now transformed from a village to an international city. It houses themed parks, fish market, museums, stadium, iconic bridges, gourmet tours, sports, entertainment and more

Overall, great insights to Korea. Will soon come back to Korea with its fascinating facts.
