This time for my trip to Jaipur, I wanted to stay at a central location. So, Four Points by Sheraton was the bang on choice. It’s a business hotel at a prime location in Vasundhara, Jaipur.
Ambiance
Right behind Big Bazaar, Sheraton stands strong on the main road. The reception and lobby area gives a warm welcome with it’s beautiful interiors that are complimenting each other. Sofas, mirrors, flooring all go so well with each other. The hotel has swimming pool, spa, gymnasium as well.
We were staying in King Suite. It was an excellent accommodation with a drawing room, study room, a big bathroom and room with almost wall sized windows and to wall length as well. It was well lit with Aravallis view. Beds were comfortable. The room had all amenities. One special type of iron table was there which even got me rid of hassle of opening the iron table etc. I loved that style.
Food
We had food at The 1st story and also at The Eatery . The ambiance of both the restaurants was beautiful and comforting. Both can be used for formal and informal dining meetings. Buffet is kept at 70 degrees in view of Corona and cutlery too is washed at this temperature.
After our dinner, we enjoyed the entertainment at the pippet stall. It was good to see kids who were funding their studies by doing these shows.
Chef Haripreeti ensured we had good food. She looked after us very well. Head Chef Sulabh Joshi has a great team. He also provided personal attention to check if the food was great.
Vipul Shrivastava, food and beverage Manager , ensured we had different experiences of dining. In room dining was an experience in itself. We had Rajasthani thali. The food was delicious. We had gutta curry. It was highly delectable. The spices were perfect as I had expected. Ker Sangri reminded me of pickle. Dal baati Churma was kids favourite. Churma was our favourite as well. Laal Maas was mouthwatering. Mutton pieces were tender and juicy. It was nicely made. Jodhpuri Murgh was very tempting. It was irresistible and chhaach was so enticing. It was very soothing on stomach. The way Rajasthani Thali was served to us was amazing. It was like a VIP treatment. It was brought on red trolley with the table laid so well.
Service
Service was impeccable by well trained staff. We ordered for in room dining. Service was great and food was awesome. Proper Covid precautions were taken at both room and at restaurants. Tables were spaced at good distances. Used pens and unused were kept separately. Vipul ensured our stay was great. He had organized everything very well. He had been in touch with us from the booking time and looked after us very well. The General Manager Mr. Lokesh Kumar Upadhyaya has a great team. The way GM is taking care of his team as well as his attention to details for guests and service, will take this property to even higher heights.
Overall, a great stay. Highly recommended.
