A visit to Le Meridien during Christmas time is an experience in itself. While the last year focus was on recycling of digital junk CDs that beautified Christmas tree, this year’s focus is on EncouragingGirls. This time Christmas Tree was not a normal tree, it was of the concept of women Santa Claus and not our traditional Santa. I had taken my kids along this time for them to enjoy the festivities! As we entered, beautiful and unparalleled Christmas tree that no one can ever imagine welcomed us!
Moving further, a real fairy took my kids to the venue.
Further ahead was coffee shop Longitude decked up in full festivities. Isn’t it amazing! This time, the whole concept of Santa Claus changed! This Santa was a girl! What a pleasant surprise! A woman Santa Claus brightened the atmosphere there with a beautiful saari and Santa cap. It was lovely and refreshing to see her. I loved this new age concept! It’s absolutely amazing! Women are givers of love and emotions! I thought it was a wonderful way to showcase the same! While it was a total surprise for my elder one, younger one was not so bothered. This was all about #EncouragingGirls as the motto behind. This motto was initiated by Menaka Gandhi under which Le Meridien has sponsored 25 underprivileged women who have undergone the intense skill development training programme with Le Meridien which was flagged off by honourable Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt. Maneka Gandhi earlier this year. Le Meridiem helps these women find careers within the hotel industry.
Soon my kids got busy in Ginger bread house. My elder one started decorating a cookie with chocolate sauce and decorative edible pearls on it.
It was delicious. I loved the patience he showcased while doing the same. Such events really give me opportunities to know more about my kids.
My younger one was busy seeing and exploring the decoration of Ginger bread House.
After that there was another section of photo frame which was fabulous. I loved it.
Moving back towards the entrance , near O1e cafe was a letter box where kids were posting their messages to Santa Claus.
My kids wrote their messages very seriously to Santa.
The Christmas would be celebrated at Le Meridien New Delhi with full fun and frolic on 24th and 25th December starting 11AM till 8 PM.
I am sure, it would be full entertainment, food and celebrations to witness Christmas at Le Meridien, New Delhi. Highly recommended.
