I have visited Jaipur many times. Got a chance to see light and sound show at Kesar Kyari Bagh this time in May,2015
Kesar Kyari Bagh has been named after the saffron (Kesar in Hindi) which was grown here during the era of kings. It is a big garden with beautiful design. Once upon a time many medicinal herbs were grown here. Kesar Kyari Bagh is visible from Amer Fort. It provides a spectacular view amidst water surrounded by hills. Such an innovative beauty. I was super excited to visit the same.

My experience at Kesar Kyari Bagh

Amber Fort

By the time we reached Kesar Kyari Bagh, it was almost dark. Upon we reaching, took some snaps. The place where Sound and light show was to be played had a clear view of Amber Fort. The fort was well lit and we took some photographs before the show started. Standing in front of magnanimous palace was an experience in itself. After a while, we took our seats and the show began. Oh, the beginning was thrilling and soon I was engrossed in the show. It was about the story of history of Amber Fort, its emperors, successors, wars and facts about crucial historical events. Interesting thing was that there was no visible character and yet the show was highly captivating. The way story was being narrated along with moving lights and sound made me visualize the scenes in front of me. It was awesome. Show duration was about an hour , felt a little lost in between as I am poor in history. Soon I was trapped in the story again. Having spent this much time sitting and listening to a story relaxed me and I came out fresh.

Maota Lake

After the show, we headed to visit Amber Fort at night. We learnt that Amber Fort was recently opened for visitors during night.

One must experience sound and light show at Kesar Kyari Bagh as it provides a different experience altogether.
